Leather types are subject to change according to availability. Please contact me to determine if your choice is in stock. Leather is a natural product so individual pieces will vary in texture, color, grain and flexibility. Sometimes I can pick a piece to fit your needs – please ask!

BISON    OTHER LEATHER

HEAVY COGNAC PEBBLED BISON

 This is a very thick leather only for use with larger snap flap style Bibles. This leather is thick (3.00mm), hard surface, semigloss, deep varied natural grain. Best for larger Bibles. Rough grain can make imprinting uneven.  [PB-002-HC]

MAHOGANY PEBBLED BISON

This is flexible classic bison with very pronounced pebble grain texture. This leather is medium thick (1.40mm), somewhat stiff, firm surface, shiny, deep even natural grain. Rough grain can make imprinting uneven.  [PB-001-M]

PINE BARK PEBBLED BISON

This is a thick, but flexible leather with an amazing pebbled patterning. This will be excellent for medium to large Bibles. This leather is thick (2.30mm), moderately flexible, firm surface, semigloss, deep varied natural grain, marbled coloring. Rough grain can make imprinting uneven.  [PB-003-PBB]

TAWNY WILD GRAIN BISON

The overall feel is like the marbled bison. This is a thick leather with a wild embossed pattern. This leather is medium thick (1.30mm), somewhat stiff, hard surface, semigloss, deep varied stamped grain, marbled coloring. This leather is a one-time purchase that may not be available again.
